India’s Tour to Australia gets a Green Light

India is all set to tour Australia (India vs Australia tour 2020-2021). Cricket Australia and the New South Wales government have finally agreed with the tour approval.

Australian cricket International team players are currently playing in the IPL2020. They will be quarantined in Sydney upon their return from IPL. They will also be allowed access to the gym and other training facilities in close proximity.

The experimental pink ball test match will be hosted by Adelaide oval, But there is uncertainty about the Boxing Day Test, whether it will be played in MCG or not. Due to the pandemic restrictions, In case MCG is unable to host the Boxing Day Test match between India vs Australia. Then the boxing day Test match will also be played at Adelaide. Test Matches between IND vs. AUS 2020 will commence from 17 December.

One Day International Matches INDIA vs AUSTRALIA will be played on 27th, 29th, and 1st December. The 3rd ODI will be played in Manuka Oval whereas, the first two ODIs will be played in Sydney Cricket Ground.

The government of Western Australia has initially declined the request from Cricket Australia for hosting India vs Australia series. They had also refused to accommodate and manage Australian cricketers returning from the Indian Premier League Season, which is currently in progress in UAE.
