On the 14th of April 2021, the International Cricket Council (ICC) updated the ODI batsmen ranking. before that, Indian captain Virat Kohli was on the top of the table with 857 points. Pakistani skipper Babar Azam was on the 2nd spot with 837 points. Babar Azam needed 20 points to become the no. 01 ODI batsman. A brilliant series against South Africa as a captain and with the bat as well. As ICC updated the ODI batsmen ranking on the 14th of April, Babar Azam got 28 points and become the No. ODI batsman.
Babar Azam is now on the top of the table with 865 points with Virat Kohli on the 2nd and Rohit Sharma on the 3rd spot respectively.

They both are exceptionally well and doing great for the game of cricket. Kohli is an experienced cricketer playing cricket for last so many years.
