Pakistan to tour of South Africa in April.

South Africa made the tough decision to tour Pakistan after a long period of 17 years. Pakistan is returning the favor to South African cricket board by touring South Africa when Australia has cancelled their tour for a three match Test series.

Cricket Australia cancelled the tour to South Africa in 11th hour when South Africa had already brought back their key players back before T20 series in Pakistan. This means not only South Africans will not be playing Australia but also that they might lose the T20 series against Pakistan as none of their main players are in the T20 squad in series against PAK.

Pakistan which outclassed South Africa in Tests and has already won the first T20 in Lahore is favorite to win the T20 series as well against a much young and inexperienced South African squad. Pakistan has now agreed to play 3 ODIs and 4 T20Is in South Africa, Which is a great news for South Africa cricket which is already going thorough tough financial crisis due to pandemic. England had previous cut short their tour of South Africa after two Proteas players and a hotel staff were tested positive of virus back in December 2020.

Pakistan cricket team has now a very busy schedule considering their home and away series and also upcoming PSL season 6 which is scheduled to be held completely in Pakistan. Pakistan’s tour of South Africa details, match schedule and fixture date as given below.

PAKISTAN vs SOUTH AFRICA ODI SERIES 2021 April

Pakistan cricket team will leave for South Africa on 26th of March and start their tour from Centurion.

PAK vs SA First ODI : 2nd April 2021 SuperSport Park in Centurion
PAK vs SA Second ODI : 4th April 2021 Wanderers in Johannesburg
PAK vs SA third ODI : 7th April 2021 SuperSport Park in Centurion

PAKISTAN vs SOUTH AFRICA T20 SERIES 2021 April

This T20 series between PAK vs SA was previously scheduled to happen back in 2020. But it was cancelled due to virus situation. Now the three match series is extended to a four match series upon CSA request which PCB has accepted generously. Here is the schedule of PAK vs SA T20 Series April 2021.

It will be a good contest after Pakistan’s dominance at home in Test and T20 series against South Africa in Jan-Feb 2021.
