Mohammad Mohammadi
As the ninth-ranked Twenty20 batsman in the world, the powerful Mohammad Shahzad looms as a crucial figure for Afghanistan in their World T20 campaign. The wicketkeeper-batsman was the first Afghanistan player to hit an ODI hundred as well the first to notch a first-class double-ton and with 1671 T20 International runs, he is the young cricketing nation's leading run-scorer in the shortest format by a comfortable margin. His unbeaten 118 off just 67 balls against Zimbabwe in early 2016 highlighted Shahzad's brute power and the innings set a new record for the highest individual score in T20Is by a player from an Associate nation. Dropped for the 2015 ODI World Cup in Australia for fitness reasons, Shahzad has a point to prove in the World T20 and Afghanistan will be hoping the opener can help them qualify for the group-stage and make their mark on the tournament.
He isn't the only MS to possess a 'helicopter' shot: he's been known to play the Dhoni-inspired stroke with tremendous flair.
