But the Rohit Sharma who is the vice-captain as well came to Mumbai instead of travelling straight to Australia with his teammates after leading Mumbai Indians to IPL title victory in UAE. Rohit didn’t attend the rehabilitation camp in Australia. Virat Kohli when asked about this told the press that he had no clue why Rohit didn’t attend the camp.
The reason was later revealed to be Rohit’s father illness.
Rohit Sharma will certainly add a lot of value to the Indian Test squad considering the fact that Virat will not be a part of the squad due to his child birth.
