44 years old veteran star all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi ruled out of the remaining HBL PSL 2021. While training for the resumption of the HBL PSL 6, Afridi felt pain in the lower back. He then consulted the physician, who told him to take complete rest. He had a lower back injury.
Sultan’s all-rounder LALA will not play any of the matches of HBL PSL 6 remainder. All-time favorite Shahid Khan Afridi will be replaced by Asif Afridi, who is a left-arm spinner from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Afridi said that “While He was training for the remainder of HBL PSL 2021, He felt lower back pain & had to consult a doctor. Unfortunately, He has been advised to rest and can no longer accompany his team Multan Sultans. LALA also added that he was practicing and training hard.
Afridi is one of the most experienced players in the league. In the absence of Boom Boom, Sultans surely miss his experience in the dressing room and on the field. Throughout PSL, Shahid Afridi played 50 matches in which he scored 465 runs at a strike rate of over 150. He also took 44 wickets throughout in HBL PSL.
