
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made a new announcement regarding the coaching staff. Along with 20 staff members names for New Zealand tour PCB has also announced that Younis Khan will be the Batting coach of the Paksitan’s Mens cricket team for next 2 years till ICC World Cup 2022, which is scheduled in Australia.
Younis Khan the former Pakistani Star batsman and World Cup winning captain of Pakistan T20 Cricket Team toured with the team to England earlier this summer. PCB has decided to retain him as a permanent Batting coach for the Pakistani team for the next two years. Thus Pakistan vs New Zealand series this month will be the first official assignment and real test of the veteran cricketer.
Younas Khan upon his appointment as a coach said, He is extremely delighted to be nominated as a permanent coach after England tour. He said that he had enjoyed a lot on his last tour with the team and he is looking forward to be working with the team on an important New Zealand tour.

PCB has also said that Younis Khan when not with the team will be working in Hanif Mohammad High Performance centre in Karachi. PCB is also looking forward to develop a work plan for the center.
PCB’s top man Wasim Khan also expressed his satisfaction upon the appointment of Younis Khan and said he would add great value to the success plan of the team. He further said that PCB received an “Excellent” feedback of Younis performance as a coach during the England’s tour. Wasim Khan also appreciated Younis Khan for his professionalism, work ethics and overall knowledge of the game.

Along with Younis Khan’s appointment PCB also nominated the support staff or Pak vs NZ T20 and Test Series.
